ABOUT
Ying Chang is a British-Chinese designer and artist working between London and Japan. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, her practice develops constructed objects through material and form, exploring spatial tension and the shifting boundary between function and sculptural form.
Working across traditional materials and contemporary fabrication processes, she constructs, disrupts, and reassembles materials into new spatial conditions, where tension and instability remain visible.
Her work spans gallery exhibitions and collaborations with brands including Maison Margiela and Paul Smith. She has exhibited internationally across Europe and Asia, and her work is held in private collections.
